Top Blogging Tips for Savvy Female Entrepreneurs To Create Attention Around Their Online Business

Starting a blog and blogging regularly can be an overwhelming task at first, so we’ve come up with some of our

Top Blogging Tips for Savvy Female Entrepreneurs.

Blogging is an excellent way for female entrepreneurs to create attention around their blog and online business. It’s also a way for potential clients to learn more about you and what it would be like to do business with you.

We all like doing business we people we know and like, so give your readers a chance to know and like you!

Blogging Tip 1: Find Your Authentic Voice.

Your clients want to know who you are and what you are like. Show them in your blog.

We discovered that finding our authentic voice took some time and as we grow and evolve so does our voice. We have found that as we discovered more about our true passions and skills our true voice has also gotten clearer.

Blogging Tip 2: Blog 3-5 Times per Week.

This can seem overwhelming at first but like anything else the more often your blogging the easier it gets.

My first posts took hours to write. So many “issues” can get in the way. At least they did for me. Fear showing up, as procrastination and perfectionism were the 2 big “issues.” Another big “issue” that kept showing up was, “what will __(fill in the blank) think? Remember we have all felt the same way.

The more often you blog the more “juice” you provide for the search engines and your clients and the faster your tribe grows.

Blogging Tip 3: Keep Your Post Visually Appealing.

Visual appeal and easy reading keep your readers engaged and on your page. Make it easy for your readers. Bold important ideas; keep your paragraphs short and your posts between 400 and 600 words.

Most of your readers will quickly skim your posts for the important highlights. We are all busy trying to get as much done in a day as possible and so are your readers so make it visually appealing and easy for them when they come to your blog.

A great example of this is when you go shopping. When you shop at an expensive, upscale store think of the experience. Everything from the window displays to the carpeting. The Sofa’s, drinks, and “eye candy,” it’s meant to be easy and comfortable for you to “just hang out.”

With your blog and the blog postings your goal is for your readers to, “just hang out,” as long as possible and to really get to know you.

Blog Tip 4: Give Serious Thought To Your Title.

Your title is the most important parts of your post. People decide to click on, tweet and share your posts based on your title. Arouse their curiosity with your title. Your title can make the difference of your post being viral and shared like “wildfire,” or hiding in a dusty corner of your blog, never to be seen. A painful waste of your time and a huge disserve to your readers who you service. So take some time when it comes to your title.

What are some of your favorite blog tips? We would love to share them with other female entrepreneurs. Comment below and feel free to share the love.

Thanks Tasha, glad it was helpful. I think we all get “stuck” sometimes with this. I find it happens less and less as time goes by.

Thanks Christine, glad it was helpful. I think the visual comparisons are helpful also to help us all think of the “feel” we want to convey when people come to our site.
